"Telecommute" vs. "Work at Home" Listings
Telecommute Telecommute listings are typically listings from companies and corporations looking to hire workers interested in both working at home and in an office. Most telecommuting opportunities are split in time, with office time and meetings scheduled on specific days of the week.

Work at Home

Work at home listings are most frequently listings from other work at home moms. Some are looking for help with their current position at a company, and some are looking to recruit for their Network Marketing team.

Note: if you find yourself wanting to answer a Network Marketing advertisement, we suggest you make sure the company you agree to join is part of the Direct Sellers Association. > More on At Home Based positions.

What do they have in common?
There is one thing in common to all job listings (whether work at home or NOT): there could be a scammer waiting to talk to you and take your money or identity. NEVER pay for information, for materials purchased from their company, or for any job application. There are a few exceptions, but very few, such as taking a drug test can sometimes cost $5-$10, purchasing equipment or software for yourself (NOT from the job poster's company), or something similar. Use your common sense. You are here to get paid, not to pay others.
