Kids Science ExperimentsScience experiments are fun and exciting to do with your parents or guardian. Almost anyone can do most of these experiments, but make sure an adult is with you in case something goes wrong or you need some help. Science experiments help you to think about your environment (all the stuff around you) and understand more of why things happen the way they do. In science classes, they may ask you to first make a hypothesis before running your experiment. All that means is that you think up your own possible explanation as to what will happen and why it will happen. After that, you get to have fun by testing things out and proving your hypothesis. There are five parts to a Scientific MethodA scientific method is just a way to ask a question and then answer it. Follow these five steps as a starting point for your experiments: Ask a Question Do some Research on your Question Think of Your Own Explanation Test Your Explanation Come to a Conclusion Safety for Your ExperimentsMake absolutely sure that your parents or an adult is always around when trying any scientific experiment. Make sure the adult knows exactly what you are going to do. I know it is hard to see when you are having so much fun, but there are many things that could go wrong. Anything hot (fire, microwaves, matches) or experiments with microscopes and telescopes can be fatal (you could get severely injured or killed). ALWAYS BE SAFE!
